An osteria (Italian pronunciation: [osteˈria]) in Italy was originally a place serving wine and simple food with an emphasis on local specialities such as pasta, grilled meat or fish. Some provide music and other entertainment.

Séptimo Osteria is the upsacle version of the small pizzeria located in Coyoacán, Mexico City with the same name which I also designed back in 2012.
Located on Altavista Ave. in San Ángel –our Mexican Rodeo Drive which is also home to Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's home/studio– the Osteria has a wider range of dishes with the traditional italian flavor, a small area for private events and a live jazz band performing every Wednesday. It's wood-fired pizza oven, high ceiling, and warm lighting makes it the perfect spot to hang around, have a drink and listen to good music.
I teamed up with TUUX for the interior design of the restaurant and we were able to tailor every aspect of it, from the patterns on the floor and ceiling, to the tables, chairs, bars, lighting, pizza trays, coat hangers, uniforms... and a long etcetera.
